Privacy policy

We collect as little as possible and never sell your data. This page explains what we store, why, and who else is involved. The data controller is the organizer of One Million Seconds, Jordan. Contact: (our email address, coming soon).
What you give us when you buy
- Your name on screen, message, link, color and logo. They are private until a person approves them. After approval they are public: on the stream, in the recording, and on this website. Please don't include private information you don't want the world to see.
- Your chosen language, so we can show pages in English or Arabic.
What we receive or create
- Your PayPal email address, sent to us by PayPal after you pay. We use it only to contact you about your purchase (for example a refund or a problem). It is never shown publicly.
- Payment records: order and payment numbers, amounts and times, kept for accounting and to handle refunds.
- A scrambled code made from your IP address (a one-way "salted hash"; the address itself is not stored). It is used only to limit how many unpaid reservations one visitor can hold at once, to stop abuse.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run analytics that follow you. Your browser remembers your language and light/dark choice on your own device only.
Services we use
- Cloudflare runs the website and its database, and its "Turnstile" check confirms you are a person, not a bot.
- PayPal handles all payments. Your card and PayPal login go only to PayPal (see PayPal's privacy statement).
- Google Fonts provides the website's fonts, so your browser connects to Google to load them.
- YouTube shows the live stream and the recording.
How long we keep data
- Unpaid reservations are released after 35 minutes, and their uploaded images are deleted about an hour later.
- Records of completed purchases are kept as long as needed for accounting and legal requirements.
- Approved content stays in the stream recording, which can't be changed afterwards.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at (our email address, coming soon). Before your seconds air, we can change or remove your content (see the Refund policy). After they air, they remain part of the recording, but we can remove your entry from this website's search.
Buyers must be 18 or older, or have a parent's permission, as PayPal requires.
